As a multi-sport college athlete in baseball and tennis, Bill decided to focus on tennis after he helped lead the College of St. Rose to the NCAA Division 2 college tournament in 1995. That year, he played number one doubles and number two singles. Bill has worked as the head tennis professional at Tri-City Fitness for 10+ years, and is currently the General Manager at Tri-City. Bill has been the Director of Tennis at numerous country clubs in the Capital District.
Bill has helped develop some of the area's top USTA teams including a National Championship team in 2003. Bill has also worked with many high level collegiate players including Jennifer Daigle (Providence), Ashley Jordan (St. Michael's), Elizabeth Harris (St. Michael's), and Emma DeFrancesco (Holy Cross). His specialty is in combining the three main assets of the game (mechanics, strategy, and cardio), in a seamless way in all the lessons he teaches.
His love for the game is contagious, and his enthusiasm for teaching has helped develop a large part of the tennis community in the Capital District.
